CASH ONLY RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. That said, get you some cash and make a reservation to eat at this literal down home, double wide manufactured house up a dusty hill beside a corral with horses. Reservations are required because they only use fresh ingredients with no waste. If you want fancy, high falutin, go somewhere else. But if you want damn good food in a warm and friendly place that the locals frequent, then this is your place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Food is awesome and the portions are huge! One thing to note is that they only take cash or check. I took pictures of their breakfast and dinner menus, but as always those are subject to change. Some things on the menu require a 24 hour notice. It's recommended to call and make a reservation but if they are not busy they will take you. Make sure to save room for dessert, also a large portion! If you think you'll have leftovers you might want to take your own to go box as they don't provide one.

I'm a little apprehensive about spreading the good news, this is the best place to eat and relax within an hour's striking distance of Cloudcroft. Fortunately they give other restaurants a small window of opportunity to get their food "out there" when there closed a few days a week.

A little Diamond tucked in the middle of the mountains. It was absolutely an amazing meal. We were a little skeptical as we pulled up in front as it looks like we were going to visit someone's home. But to our surprise the ambiance inside was cozy and romantic. The food was all prepared from scratch, including all of the salad dressings. Fresh herbs were growing out from the flower beds, the homemade bread was to die for and the steak was cooked to perfection. The dessert was heavenly, all prepared from scratch. We've eaten at four star restaurants and this one definitely would be at the top of the list. If you're ever in the area you must go by and visit Nuckleweed Place.

Cash or Check only! They don’t take card. Great little spot tucked away up in the hills. Nice little scenic drive while you get to your destination is never bad. Great food! Fantastic French toast. They even give you fresh fruits with your order. Extremely welcoming staff. I mean the host offered for us to eat first and then go grab money since we didn’t have any cash.

Found using Google Maps. Visiting friends that have been coming to Ruidoso regularly for years. They had never heard of it.. Great find! Food and service was great. It was an adventure and an experience. 1. Reservations needed. 2. Cash only. Gratuity included. 3. Price? Quality of the food as good as higher tiered restaurants in DFW. Quaint setting and peaceful. Chef and waitress so pleasant and accommodating. Will certainly come back when in the area and will be the highlight meal.

Great experience overall! Staff was super kind to work with setting up our reservation and ensuring we had the Beef Wellington pre-ordered. All staff on site was friendly and welcoming! All our food was all delicious as well! Reservations only so make sure to call ahead! I was able to get in calling 2-3 days in advance.
